Seafoam Samples / Forrest / Fast Eddy
Forrest, the Lexington, Kentucky born instrumental post-sludge outfit, having morphed from instrumental progressive rock group, Navajo Tahoe, its founders kept the prog rock core, but added their own brand of heavy, spacey sludginess to it. Overtime their writing style has evolved, drawing influence from a variety of bands ranging from Deftones to Melvins to Jethro Tull, while still maintaining a certain uniqueness that makes the group hard to liken to anything else.
Known as Cincinnati’s shortest band, Fast Eddy comes in hot with fast and loud rock n roll cowboy tunes. Mixing good ol’ rock n roll with americana Grateful Dead vibes, and a sweet layer of punk, these kids will knock you right off your saddle. Following the release of their self titled EP, recorded at Marble Garden with Isaac Karns, the band immediately hit the road for a cross-country/west coast tour, as well as changing their sound completely, which hit everyone like a speeding northbound train. This electric trio consists of Megan Denham on bass, Will Ross on guitar, and Ryan Sennett on drums.
